Today, Albert Heijn introduced a new shopping concept for an unattended digital store. Customers open the store by tapping their payment card, take their desired items from the shelves, and just walk out when they are ready:

The seamless payment solution required to support this shopping experience has been developed by ING bank and Ximedes, and uses our PecundaBox platform to run the necessary unattend POS software.
